Fun run scheduled

The Recreation Foundation of Elmore County and the Western Elmore County Recreation District will hold their annual "Youth Fun Run/Walk" for all school-aged children, first grade through senior in high school, on June 25, beginning at 9 a.m., at Richard Aguirre Park.

Pre-registration is now available at the WECRD office at 245 E. 6th South St. Registration also will be available the day of the walk, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The two-mile run and walk will be held in conjunction with Elmore Medical Center's Children's Health Fair, on the same day. The WECRD said it plans to make this "a fun family event." Prizes will be available and refreshments will be served after the walk. For details, call the WECRD office at 580-2377.
