"The Tigers did very well at Timberline," said Mountain Home Tiger head track coach Rich Urquidi. Quite a few new district qualifiers benefited from the good weather, the coach said. The girls came up five points short to Eagle, and the boys continue to improve.
"They have been hit hard by the injury bug this season, which has made it hard to get the athletes where we would really like to put them," he added.
The Tigers travel to Twin Falls Friday for their final track and field meet of the regular season. The District III 4A meet is May 12-13 at Bishop Kelly.
