Ruthada Powell - Senior Community Leader

I have worked with and trained Ruthada Powell, president of the Mountain Home Senior Citizens, Inc. center for over 10 years. She has maintained a high level of decorum in running the organization and providing necessary services for the community. The center has received much needed improvements and funding to continue the 'Meals on Wheels' programs and providing needed services to the Mountain Home community. The senior center would be at a great loss without her.

It appalls me that there are members of the community that seem to think she is running an unprofessional office. In her 16 years tenure, she has improved the office. She is always willing to go out of her way to make the center a great enviroment.

The individuals running against her first need to understand how a president should act before making accusations. Second, they need to have some level of respect for the position. It is okay to disagree, but abusive verbal behavior is not the answer. Third they need to accept defeat gracefully.

Life is too short to argue over petty items.

A vote for Ruthada is vote for the future of the Mountain Home Senior Center!
