For her ability to provide the highest level of education to her students, a teacher from Hacker Middle School was recently nominated for a state-level honor.

Raegan Sugden, teacher at the local middle school, will face other educators across Idaho for the Thomas O. Bell Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

Hosted by the University of Idaho's College of Education, the award recognizes any elementary or secondary teacher who exemplifies outstanding teaching. Selections are based, in part, on nominations by their peers.
