Talkin' Tigers qualify 10 for state

Students competing at the district debate Saturday included Will Negri, Dustin Paille, Austin DeJohn, Justin Johnson, Hailey Dudding, Jamie Doyle, San Juana Martinez, Erika Sabol, Megan Porter, Amanda Klitzkie, Carolyn Bailey, Christina Trouten and Jake Schaefer.

The Mountain Home High School Debate Team turned in another strong showing last weekend at the district debate competition.

The Talkin' Tigers qualified 10 students, more than any other school in the district, to the State Debate Tournament on March 11 and 12 at Canyon Ridge High School in Twin Falls.

In Public Forum Debate, Mountain Home will be represented by three teams at the state tournament.
