Stevens-Henager sets up "shop" at library
Friday, December 17, 2010
Looking to help local students with their studies, a regional college recently set up "shop" at the Mountain Home Library.
The first of its kind for Stevens--Henager College, the study cafe serves as a "lifeline" for the nearly 20 students here, according to a statement from the Utah-based institution.
Most of these students attend classes at the college's regional campus in Boise with others enrolled in its online courses, said Shane Reeder, regional director for Stevens--Henager College in Idaho.
