You forgot one recipe
Dear editor:
The Mountain Home News has always done a fabulous job printing the How To Make a Turkey instructions from the students at our elementary schools.
However, my daughter was very disappointed when she did not find hers in the paper. Our daughter, Kathleen Janis, is in Mrs. Knutson's third-grade class at East Elementary and was heartbroken and cried many tears because hers was not in the paper. She told us that was our Thanksgiving present.
My husband and I felt very sad for her and tried to reassure her that it was just a mistake.
Kelly, could you be so kind to print my daughter's instructions in my letter to the editor? We would be grateful if you would please.
Kathleen's How to Make a Turkey recipe
First wash the turkey and then put butter on it.
Next wrap the turkey in tinfoil. After that put it in the oven for six hours and then take it out and serve it to the people with corn, stuffing, gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and rolls. Then we eat the turkey.
Thank you for your time and consideration. This would make our daughter very happy.
Kelly and Lewis Janis
