'Fall back' set for Sunday

Friday, November 5, 2010

It's time to "fall back" this Sunday -- giving you that 25-hour day everyone has been looking for.

Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday when clocks are turned back to 1 a.m. Most people, however, change their clocks when they go to bed Saturday night.

The change is a week later than some people had become used to, but Congress changed the law three years ago, adding an extra week on each side of the old Daylight Saving Time, in hopes of saving energy.

Not all computers got the memo, however, so your machines may be off by an hour for a week.
