Parent-teacher conferences begin Thursday
Schools in the Mountain Home School District will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences beginning this Thursday, Oct. 21.
All schools will be in session during the mornings of Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, however, no lunch will be served. Schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
"These conferences are extremely important and allow parents an opportunity to meet the teacher, exchange information about the student, and promote a better understanding of home and school," Superintendent Tim McMurtrey said.
Hacker Middle School, Mountain Home High School and Mountain Home Junior High School teachers will be available to meet with parents from 1-4 p.m. and from 5-8 p.m.
Conference times for students attending elementary school will be on an individual basis. A note will be sent home with the students indicating individual conference time, but they also will be held from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
