GOP leaders to visit senior center

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

A lengthy list of leading Republican candidates in Idaho, headed by Gov. Butch Otter, will kick off a bus tour of southern Idaho during an appearance Oct. 14 at the Mountain Home Senior Citizen Center.

Otter and most of the state GOP candidates and the state's Republican congressional delegation will be on hand to meet with area voters during the event, which is scheduled to occur between 8 and 9 a.m. that Thursday.

The bus tour will then head east, part of an effort to rally Republicans for the November elections.

  • I think it's funny that they would go see senior citizens. Are they going to tell them how they're all socialists for collecting social security? Or will they be scaring them into voting red for the next election because it might be the last one they see. Wouldn't want them to go quietly into the good night without pushing out-dated values on a digital world they no longer understand just one last time.
