Saxaphobia show will explore history of sax

Rob Verdi will perform musical numbers on a myriad of different saxophones during the Mountain Home Arts Council presentation of "Saxaphonia" on Sept. 30.

Saxophobia" will be presented by the Mountain Home Arts Council Sept. 30, beginning at 7 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 2422 American Legion Blvd.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. They are available at Moxie Java, the Senior Center, Phoenix Storybook Co., Curves and at the door.

Audience members will see and hear a sopranino--the smallest saxophone in the world, a mammoth six-and-one-half-foot contrabass sax and "virtually everything in between."
