Glenns Ferry man injured in home break-in
A Glenns Ferry resident was transported by ambulance to Elmore Medical Center after suffering injuries from an alleged attack in his home last Wednesday night.
According to initial reports taken by deputies with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office, Lyle Jones was at his residence when a masked suspect entered the home at 489 E. Arthur. Jones told deputies that the suspect was carrying a pistol.
The suspect repeatedly struck Jones on the head then fled on foot. Jones was taken by ambulance to Elmore Medical Center where he was treated and released.
Jones reported to deputies working the case that the suspect's weapon discharged.
