Two incumbents on the Western Elmore County Recreation District's board of directors remain determined to seeing the district's plans come to fruition despite challenges for their posts.
Board president Marsha Sellers takes on challenger Judy Mayne in the District 1 race during the Nov. 2 elections while Jana Borgholthaus faces Art Nelson for the District 2 seat.
Sellers, who joined the recreation district board in 2009, remains committed to completing the task started by previous board members over the years.
