Basque Picnic celebrates 50th year Saturday

The 50th anniversary of the annual Basque Picnic in Mountain Home will be held this Saturday adjacent to the old Bengeochea Hotel and the historic Basque pelota (outdoor raquetball) court.

The drink and chorizo bar will open at noon.

From 3-5 p.m. the traditional lamb dinner will be served. The cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children.
