City prepares to adopt 'flat' budget for 2011
Wednesday, August 4, 2010

City officials expect no major changes in spending during the next fiscal year as they unveiled their expected $18.2 million budget last week.
Scheduled to take effect Oct. 1, the overall spending plan reflects a $252,000 increase in expected expenditures compared to the current fiscal year but still falls nearly $1 million short of the current Fiscal Year 2010 budget.
A public hearing on the proposal will be held Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. at city hall.
