Hope brightens that 2 doctors may stay here

For those fighting to keep doctors Scott Baldridge and Allan Jeffrey in the community, there was a glimpse of a ray of hope described at last week's regular hospital board meeting.

The two popular doctors want to stay in the community, but when Trinity Mountain Clinic, for whom they worked, declined to renew their contracts last year, they -- and their patients -- feared they would have to take their skills to Boise. Trinity agreed to extend their contracts through July of this year to give them a chance to find other opportunities locally.
