"Normally a match consists of winning two of three sets," said Tiger tennis coach Tamzy House, "but in case of court availability or darkness, the third set can be shortened to a match tiebreak, which is the first to 10 points won by two. Drew and Tommy played an awesome match -- very exciting to watch."
In mixed doubles, Ben Cumber and Brittany Ryan lost the #1 match in a close one, 4-6, 4-6, and Justin Rogow and Allie Draper went three sets in the #2 match before losing 5-7, 6-2, TB 4-10.
The Tigers have a busy week of tennis this week. They were home against Nampa on Monday, home for Senior Night against Emmett today (Wednesday), travel to Nampa Thursday and close out their regular season schedule at Minico on Saturday. The District III 4A Tennis Tournament is May 13-15 at Columbia High School in Nampa.
