John Lotze
John W. Lotze, 48, of Mountain Home, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010, at a Boise hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on May 10 at the Rebecca/Odd Fellows Lodge, at 155 N. 3rd East St., in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
John was born in Colville, Wash., on Oct. 19, 1961, the son of Paul Lotze and Carol Palm.
After graduating from Colville High School, John did a stint in the U.S. Air Force from 1982-1986. In September of 1988 he made a trip back to Mountain Home where he had been stationed, and there he met the love of his life, June Baldwin. They were married in December of the same year.
John drove for Watkins and Shepard Trucking for 12 years and joined the Micron family in January of 2007, finding a permanent home there.
John loved his family and spending time with them was his top priority.
John is survived by his wife, June, his daughters, Leisa and her husband, Chris Gandolfo, Christi and her husband, Adam Luman, his mother, Carol, and step-dad Francis Schwenke, his brothers, Joe and his wife, Jan Lotze, and
Jesse and his wife, Barbara Lotze, his step-brothers, Mark Grisby, Glen and his wife ,Janelle Schwenke, Allen and his wife, Arlene Schwenke and his step-sisters, Cheryl and her husband, Denny Davy, Catherine Grisby-Wadle,
Valerie and her husband, Travis Gathagan, and his pride and joy his granddaughter, Isabella Luman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, his brother, James, and his step-mother, Jan.
