Ethel Holt
Ethel Marie Holt, 83, formerly of Mountain Home, passed away in Boise on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at a care center.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 16, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Marie was born on Jan. 3, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla., to Augusta and Ben Money.
At 14 years old she went to work to help support her family.
In 1950 she met and married her husband, Tom. They raised three children and were blessed with 48 years together.
Through the years, Marie spent time as a homemaker as well as working outside the home, and operating a daycare center in her home for many years.
Marie is survived by her son, David Holt, her daughter, Debbie and her husband, Joe Zosso, nine grandchildren ‹ Lisa, Kristy, Karl, Casey, Alex, Elsa, Steven, Dylan and Alyssa, and eight great-grandchildren ‹ Wyatt, Jack, Jake, Cody, Connor, Maddy, Alexis and Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her son, Charles, both her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Marie was a kind and generous woman, a loving mom and grandma and will be missed by us all.
