Thanks for all the help at accident scene
Dear editor:
Friday afternoon, March 19, a friend and I were involved in a rollover accident on I-84 east of Mountain Home. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved and the two of us has only minor cuts and bruises.
In my opinion, we received excellent care from the emergency service personnel based in Mountain Home and the good Samaritans who stopped and rushed to our aid, giving advice on how to get out.
Shortly after, an Idaho State Police trooper and an Elmore County deputy sheriff were on the scene and quickly took charge. They were followed by the Elmore County EMS personnel and Bastida Towing. We were thoroughly checked by the EMS ladies and then rode back to the towing yard.
As we were leaving, it was discovered that a blackberry was missing. Frank Anderson of Bastida Towing volunteered to go back and recheck the accident scene. A few hours later, the missing item was found.
Thanks to all for the outstanding effort.
