Wrestlers grapple in regional tourneys

The Mountain Home Tiger wrestlers have been busy competing at Mountain Man wrestling tournaments.

On March 20 at the Capital City Classic, Trevor Dockstader won the Bantam 60 class. Second-place efforts went to Hunter Coots in the Prebantam 45, Colin Shoemaker in the PreBantam 60, Trey Moore in the Novice 130 Freestyle, Ryan Goldsby in the Junior 152 Freestyle, and Jon Ryan in the Junior 215 Freestyle.

Chance Hence was third in the Novice 70 Freestyle. Austin Clark was fourth in the Junior 152 Greco Roman and fifth in Freestyle, and Ryan Goldsby was fifth in the Junior 152 Greco Roman.

At the WIWA Memorial Tournament on March 27, first-place efforts went to Nicholas Shoemaker in the Novice 90 and Ryan Goldsby in the Junior 152. Trevor Dockstader was second in the Bantam 60, and fourth-place efforts went to Colin Shoemaker in the PreBantam 60 and Charlie Shoemaker in the Cadet 140.
