Letter to the Editor

Add your support for doctors

Saturday, February 27, 2010

Dear editor:

I have been reading the editorials in support of Dr. Baldridge and I believe the sentiments mirror what many more people are thinking but have yet to write in.

I think it's great having a doctor who had been a military physician out on the airbase. I am sure he has many Tricare patients and since he has been a military doctor he has the unique perspective of understanding this group of patients.

The active duty, dependents, and retirees have supported this town and I truly hope that this town will support our doctor. He is an extremely caring and competent physician.

It would be great for him to be able to stay at the Trinity Clinic, but I also know that he would be a great asset to any clinic he chooses to work at. I hope people will continue to send letters of support to this newspaper, and to the hospital administration. In addition I hope people will contact the hospital Board of Trustees and the doctors at Trinity Clinic (Brininger, Olsen, Bledsoe, and Crossley) to let these people know how important our doctor, Dr. Baldridge, is to us and to our continuing medical care.

I have heard that there are more than 700 patients that Dr. Baldridge is treating. That means there are still many people still waiting to come forward and show a strong support for this great doctor.

It's time to get your paper and pen out. You can make phone calls, and write letters to let the people in positions of power know how important Dr. Baldridge is to us and how he has impacted our lives for the better.

I look forward to reading your comments in the newspaper in the weeks to come.
