Open house for artists

Members of the Mountain Home Arts Council and the visual arts committee chat as local residents look at an assortment of displays during the council's holiday open house Dec. 4 at the Brown Wrapper framing and art store downtown.

Held in conjunction with the city's Holiday Parade of Lights, more than a dozen local artists showcased their work throughout the evening, which included original oil paintings and holiday glass ornaments.

In addition, Carmela Vineyards offered samples of its various wines during the show.
