JV girls soccer wins 1-0
The Mountain Home girls JV soccer team travelled to Middleton last week to attempt to avenge the 3-0 loss to Middleton earlier in the season, this time winning 1-0.
On a bumpy field with vocal home support, the Tigers worked hard to contain the hosts in the first half. Tiger's chances on goal were few and far between with only a couple attacking runs from Sarah Richins and Alondra Rodriguez.
In the second half the Tigers started to dominate possession and a few good balls over the top from Kameron Hoskins set up Cara Buckner to run at the Middleton back four. The game remained scoreless until a strike by Liz Cook from 25 yards out sailed over the Middleton keeper and into the back of the net to give Mountain Home the 1-0 victory.
