Tiger squad places at invitational
Mountain Home Junior High cross country runners fared well against their competition Saturday at the Bob Firman Invitational cross country meet at Eagle Island State Park.
The Mountain Home girls finished fourth and were led by Arisha Karren, who finished ninth with a time of 12:42.73. Ali Sarrett came in 18th (13:04.81), Willow Freer was 47th (14:25.60), McKenzie Thomason 49th (14:27.61), Vanessa Gaytan 78th (15:16.58), Caroline Powell,87th (15:32.71), Katerra Skinner,94th (15:56.76), Hannah Modde 111th (16:35.00) and Ashten Harringan 130th (18:25.37).
The Mountain Home junior high boys came in sixth at the meet with Jake Schefer coming in ninth in a time of 11:42.78. Peyton Cline was 44th (13:05.34), Tim Austin 54th (13:18.30), Kade Karren 60th (13:32.00), Cody Ashby 68th (13:38.61), Gage Abbott 93rd (14:15.42), Kamden Peterson 118th (15:10.39), David Parrett 122nd (15:17.03), Blake Bird 160th (17:22.69) and Noah Valerno, 161st (17:24.04).
