Tigers seek Kuna victory
After a week off, the Mountain Home Tigers are ready to get back to business, opening their SIC 4A conference schedule against the Kuna Kavemen on Friday.
Mountain Home comes off a bye week after being plagued by turnovers in non-conference losses to Jerome and Caldwell.
Tiger head coach Brian Floyd is anxious to get the conference schedule going.
"We finally get into SIC play -- the games that count," he said. "I still believe we can be one of the best teams in the state."
The Tigers face a Kuna team that is also winless after its first two games. The Kavemen opened with a 30-20 loss to Timberline at Bronco Stadium, and fell during a 42-14 loss to Boise at Kuna last Friday.
Kickoff begins at 7 p.m. Friday at Kuna High School.
