Parkinson Follows Up State Win With 3rd Place Finish in World Archery Championship

Mike Parkinson (14) traveled to Ellicotville, New York last week to compete in the International Bowhunting Organization World Championship.
On the first day of the competetion Parkinson found himself in 7th place among 50 plus top shooters from around the country in his class.
On Day two, Mike made up some ground with some great shooting and found himself in 2nd Place. Only the top 5 scores make it to the final 3rd day championship round.
On day 3 in the championship round Mike mis-judged a target which cost him 2nd place by just one point.
