Recycling expands
Ten Eagle Scouts from Troop 57, along with six adults and members from the city Public Works Department, have recently completed a project at the recycling center in front of the Public Works building at 1150 South Main St.
The recycling center project took over a week for the Eagle Scouts and members of the Public Works division to complete.
The purpose of the project was to expand the recycling center by making it more convenient to use, regardless of weather conditions and in doing so, fulfill the goal of encouraging more citizens in the community to recycle.
"I think the project went well. I hope that this encourages people to recycle, to help not only the community, but the environment," said Eagle Scout Anthony Drewicz.
