Stumps celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Sherman Henry Stump, Jr., and Lillian Shupe Stump of Glenns Ferry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Sunday, June 28.

Sherman and Lillian were married June 27, 1959, in Boise.

They have lived in several parts of Idaho, finally making Glenns Ferry their home. where they have resided for the past 40 years.

The couple has 10 children: Sandy (Monte) Orton of Meridian, Patrick Stump (deceased), Sue Ellis (Skip Vetten) of Meridian, Linda (Tracy) Hansen of Parma, Russell (Kim) Stump of Meridian, Sheryle (Les) Warner of Nampa, Dale (Molly) Stump of Boise, Chuck (Sandy) Stump of Glenns Ferry, Kristine (Joe) Messick of Shoshone, and Clayton Stump of Boise.

They also have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
