Students praised for fundraising

Dear editor:

I am proud to tell you Hacker Middle School has collected 653 lbs. of aluminum for the Ronald McDonald House. That means 26 nights plus! With the help of our first period Team Building class collecting cans every morning we reached it! Our first goal was 350 lbs. Hacker Middle School blew by that goal with no problem. Our most recent goal was 575 lbs. We went over that goal by 61 lbs.!
