Torture saved American lives
Dear editor:
This is an extremely hard letter to write. I have disagreed with you on numerous occasions but have never before put it in writing. I will do my best to keep it printable.
Where do you get your information? Are you aware that a plot to hit LA's tallest building was thwarted with the info that was obtained? It was also stated that the plot on the Brooklyn Bridge was discovered during one of these sessions. Also, are you aware that only THREE people who were known to have info. that we needed, were ever waterboarded? If it saved even one American life, it was worth it. It doesn't matter one whit what other countries think of us, it is the federal government's prime responsibility to keep us safe. Remember all the grief GW's administration got about not connecting the dots? Nobody was beheaded and nobody died.
I am enclosing a column from Townhall.com but this is not the only place I have read or heard this information.
