Cops seek owners of items

Police are in the unusual position of having recently recovered a number of pieces of property believed to have been taken in a series of car burglaries in the north end of town, but they don't know who all of it belongs to.

Two juveniles were arrested over the weekend in connection with the series of car burglaries. A number of items were recovered that police believe were taken during the burglaries, not all of which had been reported to police.

If anyone believes they have lost an item due to a car burglary in the last month they are urged to contact the city police at 587-2101, to see if they have it.

Sgt. Rick Viola noted that "it's important to not only keep your vehicles locked but valuables out of view, as well."
