Airbase Road one lane for now

Road construction at the intersection of Airbase Road and the Bruneau Highway is resulting in traffic being reduced to one lane.

The project consists of adding a traffic signal as well as turn lanes on both highway 51 and the Elmcrest Street legs of the intersection.

One lane will remain open in each direction as well as the center turn lane on Airbase Road.

The Idaho Transportation Department urges all drivers in the area to be on the look out for flaggers. Flaggers will help guide traffic until May 29. A 14-foot width limit is in effect.
