Ponds at Legacy need to be cleaned
Dear editor:
Have you noticed the ponds at Legacy? They are filthy! I suggest we help clean these ponds.
I know people agree, so why don't we? Yes, some will say it's to expensive and maybe someone will say Parks and Rec can't find enough people for the job. Money I can understand, but Parks and Re. doesn't seem to be doing their job.
Lets take a look. The ducks look fine right now but what about their environment? It's a filthy mess! Moss, moss, and more moss. It IS unhealthy, and what about the careless people leaving their trash everywhere? This is unbelievable.
I might not be writing this if the workers at Parks and Rec weren't so lazy. It is THEIR job to keep the ponds clean in the first place! They should be removing moss and trash, and they should put fresh water in the ponds. I say, they should help the most and perhaps learn from their mistakes.
What's more, may I remind you, although the ducks look fine now, if we don't jump right in, the ducks won't last long. The trees there thrive on that water, too.
So let us save the park and clean these ponds. And not just us ordinary people but Parks and Rec as well. Let's do our best.
With all do respect,
Brittnee Harrison
