Sophomore girls win two
The Mountain Home Lady Tiger sophomores picked up two more conference wins last week, beating Skyview and Columbia.

Mountain Home used an 11-1 edge in the fourth quarter to break open a close game and come away with a 26-15 win at Skyview last Tuesday.
The score was tied at 2-2 after a quarter, and the Lady Tigers edged out to a 10-4 lead at the half. Skyview came back to within one, 15-14, after three, but Mountain Home put 11 points on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter to win 26-15.
Kelsey Egusquiza led Mountain Home in scoring with 10 points. Jasmyne Moore added seven, JaDene Palmer and Haley Belt both scored four, and Kelly Robins had one point.

Columbia 22
Mountain Home battled Columbia tough last Thursday night, coming out with a 26-22 conference win over the Lady Wildcats in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium.
A slow start in the first quarter saw Mountain Home down 6-3 after a quarter. They managed to take the lead in the second and led 12-10 at the half.
The third quarter went back and forth, with Mountain Home managing a 19-18 lead at the end of the quarter and the Lady Tigers scored the final five points of the game to win 26-22, despite hitting just 8 of 21 free throws for the game.
Kelsey Egusquiza scored nine points to lead the Mountain Home scoring. Haley Belt and Jasmyne Moore both netted six, Carolyn Bailey added three and Kelly Robins scored two.
