Mayor orders city to begin tightening its belt

As citizens begin tightening their belts due to the nation's economic meltdown, so will the city of Mountain Home.

Mayor Tom Rist has ordered all departments in the city to begin looking at ways of cutting costs -- without reducing essential services or laying anyone off.
