Alert issued over base guide

Local businesses are being urged by the Chamber of Commerce to beware of individuals or companies trying to sell advertising to be included in a Base Guide.

"You may be contacted to buy advertising space and even sign a contract," said Chamber Director Debbie Shoemaker, but according to her Mountain Home Air Force Base has alerted the chamber that there will not be an upcoming base guide at this time.

MHAFB has not awarded a bid for the Official Guide and is alerting the local community about "this possible misrepresentation".
