Mountain Home native Angela Taylor GM of WNBA team

Monday, November 3, 2008

Former Mountain Home High School star athlete Angela Taylor was named as the new general manager of the Washington Mystics of the WNBA on Oct. 23.

Taylor, the daughter of Charles and Alice Taylor, was born and raised in Mountain Home. In school, she played every sport possible from volleyball to track and basketball. Taylor especially fell in love with basketball, which began her journey toward taking the role as the Mystics general manager. Oddly enough, her dream job as a kid was to become a general manager -- the GM of the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
