Grand View Days set for June 21
Grand View Days will be held June 21 this year with the theme of "Young at Heart."
The tentative agenda is:
* June 18 -- Town Cleanup, 6:30 p.m., Lions Park. There will be a hot dog roast after the cleanup.
* June 20 -- Firemens Pit barbecue, 6 p.m., Lions Park.
* June 21 -- Grand View Days Parade, 10:30 a.m. with MC Gary Blank, the national anthem by the Braxton Carothers, and the grand marshal, the Max Collett family, leading the parade.
Festivities in the park will begin immediately after the parade, including food, games, crafts for kids, and "the marketplace." In addition, the "story lady" will be present and a bike rodeo and softball tournament will be held. A dance will be held from 5-10 p.m. with the Sunset Riders providing the music.
The Lions Club Breakfast will be held June 22 at Lions Club Park.
