Mountain Home Tiger head track coach Rich Urquidi was pleased with their efforts at the Jerome meet.
"We had a 5A there, and 4As and it was really windy, so times were a little bit down.
"We ran really well. The girls won the meet again and they just put a solid effort in all around, and the boys, they placed in there and beat a few teams and we're getting some people moved around in there where we're being able to score some points."
Mountain Home hosts the District III 4A Track and Field Meet this Thursday and Friday, beginning at 3:30 p.m. each day.
Coach Urquidi expects some great efforts from his team.
"We're supposed to have some nice weather, and when it gets warmed up, I think our track is pretty fast, so there should be some good times. I think we've got our girls pretty much set to shoot for a district title, and our boys, they'll be right there in the mix. We're looking forward to it."
