Local golf pro thanks volunteers

Dear editor:

I have been a PGA Golf Professional for over 25 years and have never been associated with people like we have at our municipal golf course. This is just one example of the care that the citizens of the City of Mountain Home have for their golf course.

Over the three years I have been the Golf Professional at the Desert Canyon Golf Course, I have witnessed numerous occasions of people volunteering their time, care and money. KUDOS to all of the citizens who have donated their valuable time to the improvement of the Desert Canyon Golf Course.

I am writing this letter to thank the volunteers that came out on April 19, a cold blustery Saturday morning for Golf Course Clean up Day.
