No to fee hike, cut government instead

Dear editor:

I wanted to take a moment and voice my concern for the new vehicle registration tax that is being considered.

I make a good wage as well as my wife, but no matter what wage increases we have received over the last several years, there is no way that we have kept up with the cost increase for all goods and services.

I do know that the roads need improvement all too well as I drive the death trap between Mountain Home and Boise daily. I just think that an additional tax on us hard-working people is crazy in these tough economical times, and I for one believe we pay enough already and the money should come from cuts in unnecessary government programs.
