Gifts on Wheels

Students from Mountain Home Junior High School volunteered their time last week to wrap gifts for clients of the Meals on Wheels program, provided by Central District Health Department through the Mountain Home Senior Center.

The gift packages, put together from donations by area residents, were delivered to Meals on Wheels clients last week.

Students participating in the gift wrapping effort, pictured above, were: Anastasia Sansone, Chris Oswald, Josh McCoy, Dalton Holmes,Sara Baldridge, Josh Tarbox, Rhiannon James, Dawn Mespelt, Chantell Crane, Jasmyn Jewett, Brittany Crownheart, Katie Prico, Cydney Viall, Liz Griffeath, T.J. Billinger and Eli Holland.

This is a wonderful display of the caring teens of our community. So many people are quick to speak of the bad when it comes to teenagers today, but this is a perfect way to show that there is positive outlets out there for the kids and they do follow through. Hats off to todays teens, tomorrows adults!
