Tiger wrestling coach Lynn Knudson was pleased with their first efforts of the season.
"What I asked the guys to do was just improve each and every match, and as you go down through our dual matches you'll see the number of kids that really did improve a lot during the two-day tournament, and I was really pleased with their effort and the things that they needed to do in order for us to win these duals. When we needed pin points they made that happen and came out on top in a lot of good duals."
The Tigers travel to Bishop Kelly tonight for a conference dual with the Knights. The Tigers go to Idaho Falls this weekend for the Bonneville Duals.
"We're looking forward to it," said Coach Knudson of the Bonneville Duals. "I think we improved a lot during this whole last weekend, and I know that the kids are getting in better shape and being in that tournament helped us get better, and we look forward to some good things happening down there at the Bonneville duals."
