Lady Tiger JV wins two out of three games
The Mountain Home Lady Tiger junior varsity basketball team won two of three games last week, beating Wood River and Jerome.

Mountain Home shot out to a 20-9 first quarter lead and never looked back as they beat Wood River, 53-31, last Monday night in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.
The Lady Tigers increased their lead to 34-17 at halftime.
The second half was more even, with Mountain Home outscoring Wood River 19-14 for a 53-31 non-conference win.
Three Mountain Home girls scored in double figures, led by Blas Lord with 18 points. Jasmyn Jewett and Brenda Hawkins both netted 10 points, Charde` Huntington added six points, Breann Christiansen, Annika Moody and Jennifer Juarez each scored three points.

The Lady Tigers scored 12 points in the first quarter, but only 12 more the rest of the game as they dropped a conference game at Nampa last Wednesday night, 47-24.
The first quarter ended in a 12-12 tie, but Nampa outscored the Lady Tigers 15-4 in the second period to shoot out to a 27-16 lead. it was 35-22, Nampa after three, and the Lady Bulldogs outscored Mountain Home, 12-2, in the final quarter for a 47-24 win.
Breann Christiansen and Blas Lord both scored six points for Mountain Home, Kelsie Hopkins, Jasmyn Jwett, Brenda Hawkins, Annika Moody, Jennifer Juarez and Charde` Huntington each had two points.

The Mountain Home Lady Tiger junior varsity girls basketball team won their third game of the season Saturday afternoon when they beat the Jerome JV 47-37 in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.
Mountain Home led 9-7 after a quarter and built up a 22-13 lead at halftime. It was 31-20 Mountain Home after three.
Bre Sugden led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 12 points, Brenda Hawkins added eight, Breann Christiansen had seven, Charde` Huntington, five, Kelsie Hopkins and Blas Lord both had four, Jasmyn Jewett and Jennifer Juarez each scored two.
The Lady Tigers JV took a 3-4 overall record and 0-2 conference mark into Tuesday night's home contest with Kuna.
The Lady Tigers travel to Columbia on Friday night for a 6 p.m. game against the Lady Wildcats.
