Household hazardous waste clean-up day slated Tuesday

The annual Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up Day will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, from noon to 7 p.m., at the Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department office, 795 S. 5th West St.

The free service to help dispose of household hazardous waste is offered by US Ecology of Idaho, the City of Mountain Home, and Allied Waste Service.

All items should be in a closed container and clearly labeled. It is important to not mix chemicals together. US Ecology of Idaho reserves the right to reject any item at its sole discretion.
