Fr. Raul receives love and support from readers

Dear editor:

We, the undersigned, want to express our love and support of Father Raul Covarrubias.

Speaking personally, I (Linda Reece), am not Catholic, but played the piano for Our Lady of Good Counsel Church for 14 of Father Raul's 15 years here and have never seen him misstep.

Father Raul has pastured hundreds of people with integrity compassion and tireless commitment to God. His schedule is exhausting, especially considering how disciplined he must be with diabetes.

We are all hurting. We will band together in love and prayer. God will be with all involved and, as only he can, make good come from heartache.
