Robins to celebrate golden anniversary
William ( Art ) and Barbara Robins, formerly of Mountain Home, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 29 at an open house hosted by their children.
All family and friends are being invited to attend the event, held at Shenandoah Estates Club House in Garden City, located just behind Wal-Mart on State Street, from 1-4 p.m.
Art and Barb were married on July 28, 1957 in Worcester, Mass., at the Quinsigamond Methodist church. They spent 20 years in the Air Force.
After retiring, Art opened Robins Nest Upholstery and retired after 25 years. Barb owned and operated two daycares in Mountain Home.
They spent six years traveling the United States in their motor home and now reside in Garden City.
They have three children, Mark and his wife, Kami, Tam'me and her husband, Rick, and Russell and his wife, Regina. They have eight grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
