Olympians say thanks

Editor's note: The following two letters were submitted by members of the Mountain Home Special Olympics team who competed at the state Special Olympics basketball competition recently. The team members wanted to thank some of their sponsors.

Dear firemen:

Thank you for sponsoring me. I had to play three games and got third place. I had fun at my game. There was a barbecue and a dance at the end of it. But most of all, I want to thank you.

Thank you for sponsoring me in the Special Olympics. I got third place in basketball.

I had so much fun on Saturday and I really appreciate what you guys did for me.
