Local fishermen found the body of a man near the Snake River south of Mountain Home over the Memorial Day weekend.
Owyhee County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bruce Cameron said the unidentified white male was found in the Loveridge boat launch area north of Bruneau and had probably been in the water for several weeks.
The man is described as being 40-50 years old with numerous tattoos on his body.
Cameron said that an autopsy to determine the cause of death will take place on Tuesday and information will be updated as it becomes available.
